Chocolate chip and oats banana bread

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 baking soda
  • 4 mashed brown bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup veggie oil
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 vanilla extract

Before you begin, preheat your oven to 350* degrees and prepare a baking loaf pan with parchment paper or by greasing the pan. I greased my loaf pan and had no trouble removing my banana bread.

In a large bowl add all of your dry ingredients.

  • flour
  • oats
  • semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • brown sugar
  • ground
  • baking powder
  • salt
  • baking soda

In a separate bowl add all of your wet ingredients.

  • bananas
  • eggs
  • whole milk
  • veggie oil
  • vanilla extract

Bake your banana bread in the oven for about 55 minutes or until you can insert a fork into the middle of the loaf and the fork comes out clean. After removing your bread from the oven, allow your bread to cool for 20 minutes. Once your bread has cooled, remove your banana bread from the pan by flipping it over.
